The film captures the challenges of the region and its people with their argument that the oppressive Oil and Gas exploration and exploitation practices of the Multi - National Oil Companies coupled with unjust legal and political framework of the National government, have virtually wiped out the self sustaining tradition occupations of the people and denied them control over their environment.
